I adore personalized jewelry. I had the opportunity to receive and review a classic piece of jewelry from PicturesOnGold.com . Step by step I built my locket.

It was so easy to do I had so much fun customizing it.  I started here: Locket Design and there are so many options to choose from I will tell you about them.

I decided on a size and chose sterling silver. My size was 2/3 which next time I would  order a slightly larger size because  my eyes are  not what  they used  to be. The next option to choose was a birthstone on the bail. Instead of a birthstone because I was designing it with both my children I decided to use the April birthstone which is diamond. 

You can choose from clip art, text or monogram as you can see I choose my initials. On the inside right I chose my own words - My children are the reason I laugh, smile and love followed by on the left inserted a photo of both my children. On the back I chose text and wrote all our names. My husbands name is on the top but you can't see it because of the flash.  Finally after 20 times !! I decided for sure on which wording and photo I would like because I had the choice from so many different ways of designing the locket. 

Next I needed to decided on a chain and length. There are different style chains and sizes. I chose the rolo chain. I was all set to place my order. I looked at all the beautiful personalized jewelry and watches you can have personalized I wanted them all! 

As explained on their website the text is engraved and the photos are done by color laser. You also have the option of removing the background which I requested them to do for my locket. My background photo was gold in color and wouldn't have looked nice on the locket. 

A few days later I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly it arrived. I was so excited to see my children in the locket. The picture came out perfect. I am not a photographer so my pictures do not show the full clear photo of my children. The words inside were small and hard to read but I knew what it said because I wrote them. 

From my experience now with PicturesOnGold.com I see that my locket and chain is of great quality and the design quality is of a skilled artist.
