I have never used a vegetable peeler in the 25 years I am married. I have always used a knife to peel all my vegetables. It was quite awkward for me to use. I had to get my mom to show me how to use it. I had a hard time using it at first. My mom took it in her hands and used it with ease!! She peeled potatoes so easily and the Firstchefpro worked great !! She said it was the best peeler she has ever used.
I have been using it now for almost a month and I am finally getting the hang of it. It is not the peeler giving me a hard time it is me who just has a problem !! I have been using it every time I have a vegetable to peel. I am learning. Using a vegetable peeler definitely leaves more of the vegetable.
