I always use a cooking thermometer for when I cook meats. I used a regular old fashioned round one. When I received Chef Remi's Thermometer I was pleasantly surprised. It was packaged very professionally, I used it a few times so far with great results.This thermometer easily slid into the roast. Within a few seconds it measured the degrees. The LCD screen makes reading this thermometer very easy. After ten minutes, the thermometer automatically turns itself off, saving battery power. It is a perfect size much longer then regular thermometers. That helps when you are roasting a large piece of meat.
