What is your New Years Resolution ?

New Years Resolutions

With a new year approaching the majority of us will make our New Years Resolutions. The biggest question is how many of us really stick to what we say ?

Forbes states that only 8% of People Achieve Their New Year's Resolutions and and a quarter of us the first week into the new year have already abandoned their resolution.

I wanted to find out how and when new years resolutions started. I looked up Wikipedia about this subject. It states the
New Year's resolution is a tradition, most common in the Western Hemisphere but also found in the Eastern Hemisphere , in which a person makes a promise to do an act of self-improvement or something slightly niceIf you would like to read all about it visit.

I have made a resolution mostly ever year and I know I have never reached my goal. I think to many of us have unrealistic goals that are very hard to reach. I am going to try again but not make them so difficult that I really know will not be attainable. Instead of saying I will loose 25 lbs I am going to loose weight and watch what I eat and change my eating habits. This way at the end of the year if I loose 5 lbs I can now say I did follow through with my resolution.

Make easier goals and still make as many as you would like. Sit down now and start making a list of what is important to you and things you would like to change. Research your goals on the internet and see what articles can help you.

Some of my ideas I would like to change might be some of yours

Get in shape
Start eating healthier food
Become more active

Spend more quality time with my family
Become more organized
Start saving money

I have a big list !! I believe a little at a time and keep track of my progress will help me this year. What are your resolutions?
Have you had progress sticking to them ?
