Will not damage any door. I have a wood door stop that destroyed the bottom of my door. I can now use these and when not in use just put the door stopper in its holder.I highly recommend these door stops if you're looking for good value. I have mostly all hard wood floors and when I tested the doorstop it worked perfect. The little indents throughout the door stopper helps secure the stopper to the door and prevent it from slipping.
