In my previous article about safety for out pets, I searched for a car seat that would be perfect for Teddy. I did not travel much with my dogs just to the groomers and veterinarian. I should have had a car seat for them even with short visits.
We have been taking Teddy with us more often because he is going through anxiety from the loss of our dog Didi. The doctor said it was going to take time so for now we take him as often as we can.
I came across SmallDogMart and found a booster seat which I thought would be perfect. I didn't realize all the options. From seats, booster seats, carriers I thought the booster seat would work well for him because he could look out the window, he would be higher than just sitting in the back seat.

I did not know much about car safety honestly, and did a lot of reading about this subject. I know how important it is to keep our dogs restrained and safe in the car as we do ourselves and our children.
The pet car seat is amazing, and very comfortable for Teddy. It was easy to add to the backseat, just put the seatbelt through and lock in from the other side. It took less than 5 minutes to set it up.
When Teddy was in the back seat without the seat he would want to come up to the front with me or my daughter. I really thought he would give us a hard time staying in the seat but it was the total opposite, he loved it and sat down immediately. He does not even try to come up to the front of the car anymore so I know he must like it and he is comfortable.
Shipped quickly packaged well and as mentioned easy set up. The exterior is made of microsuede and is very stable and sturdy, soft to the touch. The collar teether attaches to the dogs harness for safety.
