  3. Very interesting, there were some that surprised me on the list! One that doesn't is the Yorkie, I have meet several in my travels and they are certainly excellent and intelligent companions!

  5. I love all dogs lol. My mom has Labs, my dad has a German Shorthaired pointer and I have an American Bull Dog/Statfordshire Terrier mix. I would love to get a Doberman or a Boxer, I just have a thing for larger breed dogs.

  10. This was a great list! I've had personal experience with several of the breeds listed here, but my favorite (among those listed) is the German Shephard. They are truly stunning animals, both beautiful to look at and incredibly fine companions. My current dog is a "hound mix" - a mutt from the pound. But regardless of what a dog is made of, they all have amazing potential ... mine isn't even a specific breed, but he'd got what it takes to have become a service dog.

  23. I love this post! I only have one dog breed that I ever adopt, they are chow chows! I don't recommend if you've never owned one or been around them before but if you have, they are so fantastic family dogs. I just love them so much! <3

  24. We have a Beagalier - a Beagle mixed with a Cavalier King Charles. She looks like a beagle and has the strong sniffing instinct, but everything else is the cavvy. She is the perfect family dog. I never have any concerns about my kids being around her.
