This was a very touching story. The story of Krystyna Carmi's life from when she was a child living a normal life. Krystyna goes into such depth and detail of her childhood. I loved all the photo's that show this little girl happy while living through terror.
I never really realized the extent of how the terror of the Nazi's and Hitler were so horrid. She lost her family and relives all her memories in a wonderful well written sad encounter of a little girls life. A must read for anyone who wants to know in depth about World War II and what it was like to live back then.
