I have a few Dematting tools and they all work pretty well. My favorite so far is the one I just received from barkOutfitters. There are two sides of metal combs. One is narrow and one is a little wider. My dogs mat so easily because they have long hair and it grows so fast. This dematting tool did not pull my dogs hair. I was gentle especially when there are knots. I would hold the hair so it would not pull and hurt my dog.
Dogs with long hair you have to brush on a daily basis. I brush them first with a soft brush to make it easier for the dematting tool to work. It takes out so much excess hair that makes long hair dogs knotty. I received this product complimentary in exchange for my unbiased opinion and review. All opinions and words are my own.
